Our Values

HILT schools promote and teach Values Education. The ethos of our schools is built around the Values that we consider vital in creating a happy, productive place to learn and work, and in creating decent, good citizens.

The Values we promote include Respect, Honesty, Determination, Resilience, Sportsmanship.

Our Mission

We aim to create well-rounded, good, one world citizens, achieving their potential in many ways including their chosen pathway.

We want to expose the children to as many different learning opportunities as possible to open their minds and create ambition and high aspirations, so that as they continue the learning journey of life, they are open minded to opportunities that they encounter, and can deal well with the hurdles that they encounter on life’s journey.

HILT focuses on delivering a broad and balanced curriculum across its schools, and by using a variety of teaching and learning strategies, making learning fun and memorable.

We monitor pupil progress and attainment regularly in order to plan next steps of the curriculum. Whilst retaining individuality, HILT schools value the power of partnership working, and so work in close collaboration with each other in many ways. We also enjoy working in partnership with other Harlow Education Consortium schools.
